Wow, has it really been almost 5 months since I last updated this thing? I remember when I had to struggle to wait until 12:01 so that I wouldn't have two posts in the same day... I think Facebook has taken over my life. It's the poking, I tell you.
I do, however, have a point to actually updating my blog. Something interesting happened to me tonight... Last night a friend of mine forwarded me a notice that a performing group that I enjoy watching at Renaissance Faires was doing auditions for an alto. He'd showed me one for some that they'd had way back in February, but apparently they hadn't found someone they liked enough. So they were doing them again. Today. Well, tonight, actually. Unfortunately I had work until after the auditions were supposed to be over, but the woman in charge graciously let me do mine at the end of the weekly rehearsal, instead of at the beginning. Long story short, I am now the newest member of The Merry Wives of Windsor.
